SOUTH BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA, December 26, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Austep Music Volume 6 - "Sifted Sunshine" is an 18-song compilation CD, released 19th December 2011.

Harnessing the power of working together, the compilation provides a wide range of variety for the listener, journeying from Jazz to Pop to Roots, & more.

Mastered by world renowned Daniel Fournier, the CD features upcoming Australian artists such as Brad Butcher, Sheyana, & The Latonas.

All tracks are released under a non-exclusive license, & the artists can be contacted directly should you wish to work with them. A number of free CDs are available for industry professionals & media.

About the Artists

Stephanie Harrison
Steph Harrison grew up in the red centre of Australia & performs regularly both solo & with her band the Silver Bullet Rollers.

Alvin Rostant
Born on the island of Trinidad, Alvin was a member of the Amral's Trinidad Cavaliers Steel Band, which is responsible for introducing the Australian public to the magic of the steel drums.

Emma Graves
Emma Graves & her amazing musicians invite you on a journey of rediscovery; playing homage to the jazz heroes & legends, whisking you off to Europe, adding a pinch of South American flavour & refreshing the vintage classics with an injection of modern world.

Mr Goodnight
Mr Goodnight are a 7 piece Adelaide based soul/pop/funk band who recently played Kangaroo Island Music Festival, & are launching their EP "For You" on December 16th at Crown & Sceptre. Mr Goodnight are the current Feature artist on www.musicsa.com.au

Greg Englert
Sydney based Greg Englert is a multiple number-1 on-line chart jazz, rock & pop composer, musician, & producer. He has won several international songwriting awards & performed in Australia, New Zealand, Canada & the USA. Ms Jo Kenderes is an amazing Sydney-based vocalist who working in the fields of jazz & rock.

Sheyana
Currently working on her next album, Sheyana is about to travel to Sri Lanka, with her two daughters, to visit her father who she has not seen for 25 years. During her stay in Sri Lanka she will write some new songs & plans to release the album in 2012.

The Mill Servants
Conan Chapman & Kent Bradshaw- 2 average blokes who met a couple of years ago on an isolated mine in the WA goldfields. Discovering a shared infatuation for music & song writing with a handful of sessions a month, the steel caps come off & steel strings & goatskins come out.

Brad Butcher
Born, raised & still living in North Queensland, Brad Butcher is a talented artist currently working on new material for a self-titled Album. Brad draws inspiration from musicians like Newton Faulkner, Jack Johnson & John Mayer.

Gary Davies
Born in Sydney NSW, Gary spent 20 years in the army & never fired a shot in anger. His music was largely forged by divorce & bankruptcy. Gary counts himself grateful for all the people he's met whilst walking down the highway of life.

Ben Matheson
The track "Mean & Ways" represents a collaboration between Ben Matheson (lead vocalist) with Brisbane based outfit Trouble Karma Flow, & Chris Jay of Dubwise Productions.

Rachel Koster
Queensland bred songwriter & vocalist Rachel Koster, has a writing style that has often drawn comparisons to the likes of one Carole King, however she claims her inspiration gleams mainly from feasting on a diet rich in Australian greats.

Daniel Roberts
Daniel is a singer, songwriter & multi-instrumentalist from Brisbane. He writes & records songs for the sheer fun of it, & is always looking for new projects - such as film scores, collaborations, etc.

The Latonas
The Latonas are an expansive four-piece Indie Rock band known for their exciting live shows. In demand throughout the Aussie Music scene, the band seamlessly blends catchy guitar melodies, explosive drums, & a three pronged vocal line up that delivers songs that get you dancing & stay stuck in your head for days

Man From Atlanta
Man From Atlanta is a trans-Tasman virtual band. Allan Innes-Walker from NZ is the lead singer, guitarist & primary songwriter while Ilmar Taimre from Brisbane plays keyboards & does the orchestral & brass arrangements to create an eclectic diversity of music mixing a late sixties punk-soul ethos with unauthorized folk-rock overtones.

Geoff Williams
President of the Belrose Country Music Club and radio presenter, Geoff writes songs about a range of themes & enjoys a humorous touch where possible. Geoff's "A Peaceful Mind" is the title track from his 2nd Album, containing the song "Grand ole Opera" which was a top 20 finalist in the 2008 Golden Guitars & a top 5 finalists in the 2009 Tamworth Songwriters Salute Awards.
