Ryan Kralik Announces New Album with Members of Pearl Jam, Neil Young, Free Single for Fan Club
Ryan Kralik set to release the first single from his new album, "No Agenda". Among the collaborators are Pearl Jam's Dave Krusen and famed Neil Young bassist Rick Rosas. Single to be offered for free to fan club members with no DRM.

KENT, OH, October 23, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Ryan Kralik has announced the title and first single from his forthcoming album. The new album, slated for release on December 10, 2011 will be titled "No Agenda". The first single, "Where Will You Hide" will be released on October 31, 2011 as a free download with no DIgital Rights Management. Members of his fan mailing list will receive a download link at midnight on 10/31/11 to download the new song. Kralik said of the DRM-free release, "I would rather get a song like this to anyone that wants it and let them put it on any computer or iPod that they want. The way we treat songs anymore is just silly. Record companies get a 100 year copyright and we wonder why they don't spend any time finding new artists. Why would they? We keep buying what they already own and so will our grandchildren. And when it's finally time for those copyrights to expire, they remaster and get another hundred years. What would happen if drug companies got a hundred year patent on a drug? How would you like to pay $1000 for Tylenol?"

Kralik, who has been critical of US intellectual property law in the past says that DRM, the restriction of use of digital music is just a piece of a greater flawed policy. "A copyright shouldn't be longer than a patent. Plain and simple. If you're not gonna let a drug company or a medical equipment manufacturer hold you over the coals, a record company shouldn't either. They pitch what they own. You don't know you don't like what you ain't heard".

The new single "Where Will You Hide" features Seattle bassist Keith Lowe of the band Brad who's other members include Stone Gossard of Pearl Jam. Famed Pearl Jam drummer, Dave Krusen and Neil Young bassist, Rick Rosas also collaborated on several tracks as well as the recent "Ohio" single released by Kralik and Josh Hisle. Also featured on the album are Michael Ronstadt, Pete Jive and Jeff Strainer.

The single is available to mailing list members. www.ryankralik.com offers a quick sign up form. Advance copies of single available for media. Press@ryankralik.com for inquiries.
