Starting at Republique and continuing on through Bastille and on to Place d'Italie, Techno Parade has been an annual feature in Paris since 1998. This year's parade is on September 17th.

Performing at that very first event was popular French DJ Bob Sinclar, whose hits include Love Generation, Rock This Party and Sound of Freedom. He continues to be a patron of the festival to this day.

The music comes from a succession of amps and loudspeakers that are transported along the parade route, while various floats join the party to allow people from all over the world to join together in their appreciation of techno music.
