The Crazy Sisters to start recording CD in April at Westlake Studios.
DETROIT, MI, March 14, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- In an ongoing expansion of musical diversity at the legendary Murdercap Records, CEO Jerome Almon has signed in Allie Marie of Wisconsin as the label's latest find. She joins Seattle native Mandie Dawn as the notorious label's push into the pop music field. Allie is a 17 year old wunderkind with expert talent in acting, the guitar, writing, and singing. She is slated to being recording her self titled album in Los Angeles at the starmaking studio Westlake Studios with her band The Crazy Sisters in April. Westlake is an entertainment powerhouse and hit maker having seen Michael Jackson record Thriller there and the likes of Josh Groban, Quincy Jones, Alanis Morissette, Dave Matthews, Madonna, Aaliyah, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, and Nine Inch Nails drop some of the best music of all time at its legendary labs.
Allie has been a performing arts student all her life and works with Sara Tey to write, produce, and play every instrument on their songs. "It is time for music to come back to the artist and good songs and music." Allie lists her favorite performers as song writer extraordinaire Taylor Swift, Demi Lovato, Glee, Panic! at The Disco, Katie Perry, and Selena Gomez to name a few. Allie is a breath of fresh air the industry, she is very competent musically, and studies the industry's historical greats from the Rolling Stones, to Hendrix, to Janis Joplin, Loretta Lynn, and Patsy Cline. One of the first songs for Allie's new album is a cover of the Eddie Cochran clasic Summer Time Blues. "Allie's CD is 11 songs with 11 hits," says Almon.
Allie will also work with the label on the new projects of rap lord THE VIRUS and do a duet with Mandie Dawn. Allie will also be writing her own music videos and commercials for her upcoming album. Allie is surely to have a very bright future in the entertainment industry as both a performer and producer. "She and Sara Tey are like Ann and Nancy Wilson from Heart on the blistering rock and roll hit Barracuda-they just don't hold back at all," says Almon. Allie will also bring in Murdercap Records top actresses and models to join her in her commercials and music videos. Look for some stunning work when Allie teams up with Montreal bombshell Bajita Singh, Phoenix teen Queen Phoebe Crnich, Miami Diva Michelle Milon, and LA actresses Lindsay Hanzl, Genine Von Meyerloe, and Alina Gorun for extended play music videos that will greatly change how the music industry sees music.
