A double bill of Common and Dwele will entice plenty of hip-hop and soul fans to head to Paris's Elysee Montmartre in April.

PARIS, FRANCE, March 23, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- US rappers Common and Dwele will play two eagerly anticipated shows in Paris next month.

The pair will take the stage at the Elysee Montmartre on April 7th and 8th accompanied by their live bands.

Grammy-award winning entertainer Common - AKA Lonnie Rashid Lynn Jr - has the headline billing and could give audiences a taste of his upcoming album The Dreamer The Believer.

It is due to be released this spring and will be his ninth studio LP.

In addition to the acclaim Common has received for his musical output, he has also racked up a series of high-profile acting roles over the past decade, including a part in Terminator Salvation.

Dwele has yet to break away from the record industry and his soul-based songs have built up a huge fan base in his native US.

He released W.ants W.orld W.omen last year and collaborated with Common on 2007's The People.

Tickets for the concerts cost EUR49.90 (GBP43.65) and are available online or at the box office. Doors open at 18:30 local time on both nights.
