First Raleigh Rising Music Event Starts March 18
Amplified Art partners with beer brand PBR to launch the inaugural Raleigh Rising music event on Friday, March 18 in downtown Raleigh.

RALEIGH, NC, March 18, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The first Raleigh Rising will feature the music of Jeff Human of Hustle, Hustle Korea! and Standing Bear, with Andy and Tomi Lukacs. Raleigh Rising is a new monthly event focused on showcasing local musicians on the rise. The evening kicks off at 7:30PM in Amplified Art at 224 East Martin Street, located in the historic City Market area.

"There's an abundance of musical talent in the Triangle," said Diana Tong, co-owner of Amplified Art. "We're proud to start Raleigh Rising in our gallery and have tomorrow's top musicians play today." Amplified Art is host to open mics and special events with their versatile gallery, which is a hybrid of performance space, showcased art and retail.

Beer and wine will be provided and admission is $5 at the door. More Raleigh Rising performances will be announced soon.
