Chamber Music Concert in New York City by the Children's Orchestra Society Faculty includes both Classical Masters and Songs from the Philippines
Mozart and Albeniz share a chamber music program March 4, 2011, at Christ & St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in NYC with Visayan songs from the Philippines; reflecting the diverse repertoire of the Children's Orchestra Society faculty.

MANHASSET, NY, February 10, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Chamber music to be performed by the Children's Orchestra Society faculty at its Masterworks Concert on Friday, March 4, 2011, at Christ & St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in NYC includes familiar classics--a Mozart horn quintet, Beethoven string quartet, Mendelssohn piano trio, and Albeniz for solo guitar--plus songs from the Visaya region of the Philippines.

Masterworks Concert is an annual faculty recital by the professionally trained musicians of the Children's Orchestra Society (COS). "Our faculty is devoted to developing young talent," explains Executive Director Yeou-Cheng Ma, "yet they hunger to express themselves through their art. The COS Masterworks Concert is an opportunity to showcase our faculty while bringing lively music to the community." Featured at this event are guitarist Michael Dadap, pianist Cynthia De Leon, violinists Yeou-Cheng Ma and Kevin Shue, Olivia Martinez - viola, Marianna Healy - French horn, Marc D.
